Studio Policies
Business
Hours
Our studio is
normally open by appointment only, however, if you see our
lights on, please feel free to stop and visit with us. If we
are with clients, we will schedule a time for you to return
and talk with us. We know how hard it is to make
appointments during normal business hours, so we do schedule
many appointments during the evening hours and on Saturdays.
Don't hesitate to call us to schedule a complimentary
"consultation" and to see our work and talk with us.
Service
We reserve the
right to refuse service during days/hours which would be a
hardship or inconvenient for us or our families, or which
would be beyond the scope of our skills, or for which we
feel we could not provide appropriate quality or service.
Retainer
Fees
Our studio
retainer fee is a non-refundable fee to RESERVE your
appointment type on our busy calendars. We do not charge for
"sessions", only the retainer. This retainer is NOT applied
against your order and is non-refundable. If you are ill and
cannot come at your scheduled time, we will attempt to
reschedule your appt time if you call us in advance of your
scheduled time.
Portrait
Acceptance
Clients
"review" their images at their choosing appointment via
projection before their order is placed. In addition,
clients are shown each final portrait at the time of pickup.
Any problems should be brought to our attention at the
choosing/sales session or at pickup time.
Payments
We accept cash, check or VISA/MasterCard payments for
your portrait orders. Complete payment must be provided at
the time of your order. We send no images to our lab without
full payment. (Wedding clients' contracts lay out their
payment plan). We will work out a payment plan for
larger orders if needed, sending your images for print when
payment is complete.
Client
Referral Program (Effective 11/6/06)
We have a
wonderful client referral program through which we provide
"referral cards" to our existing customers so that they can
earn portrait credits. Existing customers may refer "NEW"
clients to us through these cards. New clients MUST bring
the referral card with them to their choosing session.
New clients may only present one referral card for portrait
credit. Please do not present more than one referral card.
In addition, existing customers may not redeem a referral
card, since they are already our customers and not "new
customers". Existing customers may earn additional portrait
credits by referring brand NEW customers as many times as
they wish, but only one referral per NEW customer please.
Copyright
As creators
of the lovely images we provide our clients, we do retain
copyright to these images. We take enormous care when we
create these images to provide our clients with a unique and
unforgettable experience and a superior product to take home
and enjoy for many years to come. Scanning or otherwise
reproducing these images is a violation of copyright laws
and also deprives us of revenue from the many hours we spend
on preparing our images. If you have need for additional
images or digital images, please contact us and we can
discuss our fees to satisfy your requirements. Also,
please refrain from taking pictures with your camera
(including cell phone camera) of our products.
